It’s hard to describe how I feel about my CrossFit family. I believe that I’m just simply blessed.  If someone were to tell me in high school, or university that I’d end up owning a gym, I would have said something like “that’d be amazing but it’s never going to happen.” Well now I do, and it’s all because of the amazing people at N6.  In the short time that CrossFit N6 has been around, I’ve learned some valuable life lessons.
Make taking care of others a priority, and they will take care of you.  I’m overwhelmed by the support of the N6 crew day in and day out.  From bringing over some BBQ chicken, and awesome “paleo” lemon meringue pie, to helping with the move and setting up the new facility, you all have been amazing.
Second, things are not always going to go according to plan, so you just have to go along for the ride.  I never thought I would be in a facility but I’m starting to realize that I need to stop underestimating what we’re doing here.  We’re becoming a strong, tight knit community who genuinely care for each other, and like working out. When you place excellence and caring at the top you priority list, success automatically follows.
Our CrossFit family is about to enter a new chapter and there will be ups and downs for all of us, but as long as we stick together, continue to genuinely care for the well being of each other, we will reach unimaginable heights.  I’m proud of every single person at N6 and feel lucky to be part of your lives. Let us all remember where we came from, what our priorities are and never stop caring.  Let’s create the best community around where people who feel intimidated end up feeling welcome, where people who are shy feel like they’ve know you for years and where we can make lifelong friends.
